I was once just a shadow on the edge of life — abandoned, skinny, soaked, and trembling in a forgotten corner of the world. People walked by without a glance, as if I didn’t exist. My ribs showed through my dull coat, my legs barely held me up, and my heart beat slower with each passing day… not just from hunger, but from the quiet ache of being unwanted.

Then one day, everything changed.
A pair of gentle hands reached down and lifted me up — not with fear, not with disgust, but with love. I didn’t understand it at first. I thought I was just being moved… like trash swept from the street. But then I felt it: warmth. A blanket. A name. A voice whispering, “You’re safe now. You’re home.”

I was bathed, fed, and wrapped in soft towels. Day by day, my body began to heal… but more than that, my spirit did too. I started to lift my head when someone walked in. I wagged my tail for the first time in months. I let myself believe that maybe, just maybe, I was worthy of love.
Now, when I look in the mirror, I see someone completely different. My curls are fluffy and soft, my eyes are bright with joy. I’m still the same dog who was once thrown away — but today, I’m living proof that love can bring anyone back to life.
I’m not just a beautiful Poodle mix — I’m a survivor. I’m a reminder that no animal is too broken to be loved. And though I carry the memory of those cold days, I now fall asleep in warm arms, knowing I’ll never be alone again.

To those who see me now, thank you for seeing past the dirt and the bones — and for helping me become who I was always meant to be.
