Micah Parsons is arguably the best non-quarterback in football right now, and the Dallas Cowboys have the luxury of having him on their roster. That said, the Cowboys and Parsons have yet to figure out a long-term deal.
With Parsons set to be a free agent in 2026, right now, the Cowboys have the pressure of keeping him around. While Parsons isn’t holding out, the two sides don’t seem in a rush to get a deal done.
Daniel Alameda believes that we could see Parsons being traded to the Washington Commanders.
Alameda writes, “Parsons has repeatedly praised Quinn’s impact, describing him as “my guy,” “like a big uncle,” and a coach who develops both the player and the person. In February 2024, Parsons joked, “He might take me with him” when Quinn left for Washington—later saying he hoped Commanders fans would “take care of my guy”.
