In an exclusive interview that aired Saturday night, the 15-time Grammy winner revealed that he suffered a serious health crisis, enough to make him think his music career might be over forever.
“I woke up one morning and I couldn’t feel my voice anymore,” Bruno shared through tears. “I couldn’t breathe deeply, I couldn’t sing, and my body was betraying me.”
Doctors diagnosed Bruno with acute laryngitis combined with mild vocal cord damage, brought on by overwork, lack of sleep, and stress from his lengthy tour.
