KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A key part of the Kansas City Chiefs offense could be making his return soon.
The Chiefs have been without wide receiver Hollywood Brown after he injured his ankle during training camp two weeks ago.

Head coach Andy Reid spoke with the media on Monday, and gave a positive update on the status of the sixth-year pro.
“It’s not really a high-ankle sprain, it’s more ankle, foot area,” Reid said. “He’s making great progress. He’s up and he’s running now, a little bit, so that’s a positive. I don’t think he’s too far off, but we’ll see.”
Hollywood Brown missed 15 games last season sternoclavicular injury, so he is still trying to find his footing within the Chiefs offense.
Reid did not specify when Brown was expected to return. The Chiefs play their second preseason game on Friday on the road against the Seahawks at 9 p.m.
