Shoppers at a Los Angeles supermarket were left speechless when Lady Gaga turned the grocery run into what looked like the opening night of a world tour. Wearing towering 30cm platform heels, a glitter-covered jacket, and sunglasses bigger than the fruit section, the pop icon caused more chaos than a Black Friday sale.
Meanwhile, her poor husband could be spotted hiding at the milk counter, nervously scrolling on his phone and pretending he wasn’t part of the glamorous circus. “I just wanted to buy eggs and bread,” he was overheard mumbling, while Gaga was busy striking poses near the frozen pizza section.
Eyewitnesses say Gaga even turned the vegetable aisle into a runway, dramatically tossing a head of lettuce into her cart as if she were performing for the Grammys. “It was the most fabulous carrot shopping I’ve ever seen,” said one stunned shopper.
By the time Gaga reached the checkout, a small crowd had gathered, phones out, cheering like they were at a stadium concert. Security reportedly had to ask her to step aside after she insisted on singing Bad Romance while scanning her loyalty card.
Her husband, however, was seen whispering under his breath: “Please, just once, can we shop like normal people?” – before helping her balance on the heels as they left, bags of groceries in one hand and his dignity in the other.
