A recently leaked video on social media has sent shockwaves through English football. In the 30-second clip, Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim’s car can clearly be seen surrounded and pelted with stones by a group of furious fans as he was driving home from training.
According to inside sources, the incident occurred just outside the gates of the Carrington training complex. At the time, Amorim had only just left the training ground under immense stress, following days of poor results that fueled mounting pressure from both the media and supporters. The angry shouting, combined with the stone-throwing, created a chaotic and dangerous scene.
Fortunately, Amorim was not injured, though his car sustained significant damage. Several witnesses reported that he quickly drove away with the assistance of security staff.
The leaked footage spread at lightning speed, gaining millions of views within hours. While some fans expressed anger and claimed it was “the price to pay” for United’s poor performances, the majority of supporters and football experts condemned the violent behavior, calling it deeply disrespectful and warning it could plunge the club into even deeper crisis.

So far, Manchester United have not issued an official statement. However, British media report that security around both Carrington and Amorim’s residence has been tightened to prevent similar incidents.
This shocking episode not only raises serious questions about Amorim’s future at Old Trafford, but also sparks a heated debate about the fine line between legitimate fan frustration and extreme, uncontrollable acts of aggression.
