What seemed like a harmless school assignment is now sending shockwaves through the English media. The son of Bruno Fernandes – Manchester United’s brightest star – was recently tasked with a simple project: “Write about your hero.” No one expected this innocent piece of work to turn into a “time bomb” that would blow up the Red Devils’ dressing room.
In the essay, which the teacher proudly shared online (intending only to showcase its cuteness), the young boy revealed:
“Dad often tells Mom that some of his teammates are selfish, they don’t pass the ball. Sometimes Dad comes home really angry because he had an argument with the coach in the dressing room…”
Just a few innocent lines, yet enough to send the media into a frenzy. Tabloids immediately went wild with headlines such as: “Bruno Fernandes frustrated, blasts selfish teammates” and “Man United’s locker room secrets exposed… by a child.”
Cracks in United’s dressing room?
Sources from Old Trafford suggest the comments may have been aimed at certain attacking players frequently criticized for holding onto the ball too long. The coach, meanwhile, is said to be embarrassed, as being “called out” by the captain’s own family has badly damaged the club’s disciplinary image.

Fans erupt in fury
Social media quickly split into two camps:
-
One side slammed Bruno for “talking behind his teammates’ backs and letting his son spill it.”
-
The other side defended him: “Kids don’t lie – Bruno must really be fed up.”
Storm before the showdown
Ironically, the controversy erupted just as United are preparing for a crucial clash. Many pundits fear that a dressing room already fragile could now be on the verge of completely falling apart.
