Mother’s Day is meant to be a celebration — a day of warmth, love, and new beginnings. But for Jaspreet, it became the day everything changed.
Her newborn son, Dylan, just four weeks old, began showing small but troubling signs: a muffled cry, a chesty cough, and a body that seemed far more tired than it should be. It looked like a minor illness — something a doctor could easily treat. But what followed was every parent’s worst fear.

After urgent tests, doctors discovered that Dylan had two severe undetected heart conditions:
• Coarctation of the aorta – a narrowing of the major artery supplying blood to the body
• Aortic stenosis – a critical blockage affecting blood flow from the heart
Despite all efforts, Dylan’s heart could not keep up. At just ten weeks old, he took his final breath — leaving behind a love that will never fade, and a family forever changed.
In the midst of unimaginable grief, Jaspreet found purpose. She chose to share her son’s story — not only to honor Dylan, but to protect and educate other parents.
“Every moment with Dylan, though brief, was filled with love,” she says. And that love has now become a mission.

Tiny Tickers, a charity dedicated to heart defect awareness, has continued to honor Dylan and thousands of other “heart heroes” gone too soon. Their message is clear:
🔴 Every heartbeat matters.
🔴 Early detection saves lives.
🔴 No parent should face this pain alone.
Dylan may have only lived a short time — but his life is making a lasting difference.
💗 In his memory, we fight for tomorrow’s children — so their hearts can beat stronger, longer, and louder.
