“I JUST WANT TO BE A MOM” — 9-YEAR-OLD BRIE BIRD’S FINAL WISH AS SHE FIGHTS STAGE 4 CANCER .l

Nine-year-old Brie Bird isn’t asking for toys, fame, or miracles. She has only one dream — to survive cancer so she can one day become a mother. As she battles stage 4 cancer, her days are filled with pain, nausea, and exhaustion… yet her hope remains beautifully alive.

Despite her fragile condition, Brie recently gathered the strength to celebrate the Wicked movie premiere with her family. Wearing her favorite colors and oxygen tubes, she softly sang along to the soundtrack — especially “Defying Gravity.” That moment of joy brought overwhelming support from stars like Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and others, who sent heartfelt gifts and messages encouraging her to keep believing she can “fly.”

But reality has grown heavier. Brie now spends most of her time sleeping, eats very little, and relies on oxygen to breathe. Her voice is fading, yet her heart remains loud. On November 24, while carefully making a stuffed animal, Brie whispered three wishes:

“I wish my cancer goes away…
that I can walk again…
and that I can be a mom before I die.”

Her mother, fighting back tears, held her close and quietly shared the same wish.

Brie’s story is more than a medical battle — it’s a powerful reminder of the dreams children carry, even in the darkest moments. She doesn’t want to be remembered for her illness — she wants to be remembered for her hope.

And as long as she keeps hoping, the world will keep hoping with her. 💚✨
