Koa was the kind of child who could lift a room with nothing more than a playful side-eye or a soft, mischievous grin. His joy was infectious, his heart gentle, and his presence a quiet comfort to everyone lucky enough to know him.

But everything changed after a sudden fall sent his family searching for answers. What doctors discovered was every parent’s worst nightmare: high-risk B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
In the months that followed, Koa faced a storm no child should ever have to endure—relentless chemotherapy, frightening complications, and moments of pain that would break even the strongest adult. Yet through it all, he fought with a bravery far beyond his years.

On March 21, 2025, surrounded by love, Koa’s battle came to an end. To his mother, Alexis, he will forever be the strongest soul she has ever known—a warrior wrapped in the body of a little boy.
Koa’s journey is more than a story of illness. It is a reminder of resilience, of love that endures every hardship, and of hope that continues even after goodbye.
