My name is Aniela, and the tragedy I endured at birth has left a lasting impact on everyone around me. I was born weighing just over one kilogram, at only 30 weeks of pregnancy, and my arrival was anything but easy. My body was weak and fragile, and I was thrust into a world of pain, fear, and uncertainty. My life began with a battle, and the fight to survive has been ongoing ever since.
The problems with my placenta became so severe that urgent surgical intervention was required. Every second mattered, and I had no idea what was happening to me. My body ached in ways I couldn’t describe, and I couldn’t even scream. My lungs burned, my heart ached, and I couldn’t breathe on my own. I was hooked up to multiple machines, connected to life support, unable to eat or function on my own. The world around me was unfamiliar and terrifying, and my life seemed to be slipping away.

Blood transfusions became my only lifeline. At first, just one transfusion was needed, then another, and another. The doctors told my family it was a risky move, but there was no other choice if I were to have any chance of survival. Each transfusion gave me a sliver of hope, and my fight continued.
Just when it seemed I might stabilize, another crisis struck. I developed necrotizing enterocolitis, a life-threatening condition that required immediate surgery. Once again, I was fighting for my life, struggling against a force I couldn’t understand. The pain and suffering I endured in those early months of life were unimaginable for a tiny baby like me. Every day was a battle, and I spent months in the hospital, with no guarantee that I would make it through.
Even after surviving these early challenges, my story is far from over. I’ve since been diagnosed with a heart defect, autism, severe vision impairment, food intolerance, and significant developmental disabilities. I cannot speak or even babble, and I’m unable to crawl. The limitations I face each day are overwhelming, and the only way I can hope to function and develop is through intensive therapy and rehabilitation.
Sadly, my father couldn’t cope with my illness, and my siblings and I have been left to rely solely on my mother. She’s doing everything she can, but the reality is we cannot afford the specialized care I need. The help we receive from the National Health Fund is simply not enough, and we are struggling to make ends meet.

This is where I need your help. I have dreams — dreams of one day being able to function normally, to speak, to move, and to live a life filled with possibilities. But these dreams can only become a reality with the proper medical care and support. Without help, I will continue to face these obstacles alone, and my future will remain uncertain.
I am reaching out to kind-hearted people like you, asking for your support in securing the healthcare and rehabilitation I desperately need. Even a small donation can make a significant impact. Just 19 PLN can cover one hour of a rehabilitation session, and every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to a better life.
Please, don’t ignore my plea. I have no one else to turn to, and your generosity can provide me with the chance to live a full, healthy life. Your support will make all the difference in my journey toward healing and growth.
Thank you for your kindness and for helping me get one step closer to the life I dream of. Every penny counts, and with your help, I can continue my fight for a better future
