Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs took some time out from his pregame preparations to gift a young fan a pair of special sneakers.

Diggs and Aydin Laborde, five, have already connected before, meeting in the summer after the youngster’s dad passed away following a brain aneurism.

Diggs made his way over to the stands to find the five-year-old and give him a personalized pair of shoes.

‘Do you remember my face,’ Diggs said to Aydin, with the heartwarming moment shared on the official Bills Twitter account.

Aydin replied: ‘Yeah.’

Diggs then said: ‘I heard I got a present for you for Christmas, Merry Christmas.’

The Bills star gave him a shoe box containing a special pair of sneakers. One shoe had an image of Diggs on while the right shoe had a drawing of Aydin’s late dad, Nicholas, on.

Diggs, who signed one of the shoes on the spot, said: ‘Merry Christmas little man.’

The youngster was overcome with emotion but the football player tried to put a smile back on his face by saying: ‘Wish me luck,’ as the pair high-fived.

Aydin explained why he became emotional, telling WKBW: ‘It just reminded me of my dad.’
