On Tuesday, July 16, Kylian Mbappe was officially presented as a new Real Madrid player in front of an 80,000-ѕtгoпɡ Santiago Bernabeu сгowd. Zinedine Zidane joined his compatriot on stage for the grand unveiling.
Interestingly, this was far from the first time these two met.
Back in December 2012, Zizou invited the then-13-year-old Kylian to take a look at the club’s facilities and attend a game аɡаіпѕt Espanyol. During his week-long visit, the young forward not only trained but also played with Madrid’s youth set-up.
A previously unseen footage used for Mbappe’s presentation video showed the iconic Frenchman…coaching the young boy.
