A Western Natal viper measuring around 80 cm (31 inches) was spotted. Although it is not ᴘᴏɪsᴏɴᴏᴜs to people, it may be somewhat hazardous to reptiles and other small animals. An extremely nice Wahlberg Velvet Gecko was spotted by the snake.
The snake and its victim plummeted to the ground after it ᴀᴛᴛᴀᴄᴋed the gecko on the rafters. The entire process took around 40 minutes. The gecko, which was attached to the snake’s head, was carried around by the snake as it crawled.
The snake was working extremely hard to get the gecko off of its body but the gecko bit back. For a while, they continued biting each other in that manner. They eventually split up in the hopes that the animals would cease ғɪɢʜᴛing, but the gecko was ultimately ingested by the green snake. The green snake emerges victorious from this ʙʟᴏᴏᴅy conflict, while the gecko perishes.
The green snake is a “small medium” sized nonᴠᴇɴᴏᴍᴏᴜs snake native to North America. Its smooth dorsal scales are the source of its common name. Its belly is either yellow or wʜɪᴛe, while its back is a uniform light green color. Its dorsal coloring changes from birth to maturity.
