A mutant pig with two trunks and eight legs on the same body died minutes after giving birth on a farm in China.

Mr. Gao Baiqi, a farm owner in Linyi city, Shandong province, China, said he was extremely surprised when he discovered a newborn piglet with 2 trunks on the same body with 8 legs in all. .
“I’ve never seen anything like this before,” Gao said. He even tried to separate the deformed pig from the herd for convenience, but the animal convulsed and died within minutes of being born.
Mr Baiqi said: “I even prepared milk to feed him, but the animal died within a few minutes.”
There is still no definite explanation as to why this piglet has such a peculiar shape. Many scientists believe that the animals are actually two identical twins, but the mutation has prevented them from separating properly, which is similar to the case of conjoined twins in humans.
