Many people enjoy their company with pets and never crossed their mind to put dogs or cats out of their minds, but in some cases, it’s not uncommon to find humans being callous towards pets.
This is a story about a dog named Lisa, who was found lying on the road, on the cold asphalt, which was the result of cruel human actions. The fact that she was pregnant does not seem to be a reason not to abuse her or her assailants, as she was found to be gravely injured.
When he was found by a kind person, the poor dog didn’t even have enough strength to get up, which made his rescue even more difficult. Even though her story was posted on social media, no one had reached out to help her.
When a pro-animal organization finally discovered the situation, it was too late for them to save the tiny puppies they were carrying. Lisa has lost all her children in grief.
“A boy found a lying dog that was being attacked and dumped in the street. So, we had a hard time getting to him but couldn’t find him. Our volunteers kept looking for him and then we found him lying on the street,” reported the Animal Rescue organization.“It looked like she had just given birth but sadly all of her puppies were not saved and she was also suffering from rectal prolapse and depression. We were worried that he would run away if we approached him. So we tried giving him some food and luckily it caught his attention,” added a spokesperson for the organisation.
Luckily, Lisa was rescued and she is currently recovering. On that day, Lisa was already showing clear signs of obvious improvement. He is eating well, he is much calmer and is progressing a lot.
“She was very emaciated, dehydrated, weak and anemic from the abuse she received during pregnancy, plus she had just lost her baby. Why would someone torture this poor lying dog? Did they beat him just because he was trying to find food for the baby? the organization commented.
Of course, after experiencing such terrible cruelty, Lisa was scared, distrustful, and always on the defensive. He refused to even be given a drink, so vital fluids were administered to him through a syringe.
Although the fur mom still has a long way to go to reach her ideal form, she is starting to show signs of being a creature with an extraordinary personality. He even goes for walks and likes to do a little sport, enjoying the beauty of love he has never felt.
