Chiara, who was on a family trip to Crete, Greece, found a dog lying in the middle of the road that could barely move.

After getting out of the car, the dog’s legs were completely paralyzed and he could not move on his own. It turned out to be a homeless dog living alone in a nearby barn.
Kiara fell in love with the dog and decided to take the big step in doing the best she could. The dog, previously referred to by Kiara as “Phos”, which means “shining” in Greek, was taken to a veterinarian’s examination.
I couldn’t leave Phos and go home like this, so I took Phos back to Holland where Mr. Kiara lived. And even now, the treatment continues, and the paralyzed leg is getting better little by little, and it started to shine as the name suggests.
