In a frigid region of Alberta, Canada, a precious puppy suffered a severe injury to her pelvis. Sadly, she was immobile and had little chance of survival due to subzero temperatures.

Thankfully, a group of teenagers came across her and immediately reported it to the AB Task Force for animal rescue. The AB Task Force then contacted the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) to help with the situation.

According to AARCS, Nutmeg was discovered after 12 hours of being stranded in the cold. The snow around her had melted due to her body heat. Fortunately, rescuers were finally able to locate her and immediately brought her to SAVEvet. Despite what she went through, Nutmeg was overjoyed when she saw her rescuers. Currently, Nutmeg is on the mend from her broken pelvis, but she will need to be on crate rest for six weeks. In the meantime, she will receive plenty of love, including treats, kisses, and back scratches from AARCS.
