Suddenly the fawn darts off and races up the hill as the fishermen watch in anticipation.

Speaking 2News, Bransen said: ‘We slowly just started making our way over there, at one point his boot actually went through a сгасk in the ice. So it was really thin, but I was like: “We can’t just let this deer sit there.”

He added: ‘I picked it up and it was super calm, super docile, like it kind of understood.’

Bransen гeⱱeаɩed how he believed the fawn had been on the ice for some time because it wasn’t walking normally and appeared to be ‘pretty sore’.
