The match between Real Madrid and Alaves witnessed the home team’s suspenseful final minutes and it was only thanks to luck that they were able to win 3-2.

Playing at home against an opponent that was not rated too highly, Real quickly attacked from the first minutes. And they opened the scoring in the 54th second. Vinicius made an impressive breakthrough, then passed back for Vazquez to finish with one touch into the visitors’ net.
With an early goal, Real played with more confidence. They completely controlled the match. However, it was not until the 40th minute that the White Vultures had their second goal. Bellingham dropped the ball easily, allowing Mbappe to run down, pass him and finish neatly. 2-0 was also the score of the first half.
Right at the beginning of the second half, Real Madrid scored their third goal. In the 48th minute, Rodrygo had a spectacular solo run before finishing from a tight angle, “threading the needle” past the opposing goalkeeper.
With a 3-goal lead, Real played very leisurely. They completely controlled the match and even had opportunities to score a 4th goal. However, the home team’s strikers wasted them regrettably.
And this almost cost them. Alaves still fought hard and scored 2 goals in the final minutes. In the 85th minute, Benavidez had an accurate shot from outside the box to reduce the score to 1-3. Just 1 minute later, substitute player Kike Garcia scored the second goal for Alaves.
In the remaining minutes, the visitors attacked frantically and made Real struggle to maintain the score. Unfortunately, there were no more goals. Los Blancos won 3-2 to temporarily narrow the gap with Barca to just 1 point, before the Catalan team takes the field tomorrow.
