A dog’s needs are simple. They want a warm bed, a good bowl of food, and a family to love them.
Dogs are pack animals, and all they really want is to find a nice family to be their pack.
The dog has finally found its pack! And it’s especially a joyful moment when dogs at the shelter have been adopted.
And it’s even more exciting when a dog has been in a shelter for a long time before they finally get adopted.
Paco is an American Staffordshire Terrier, who has been living at this shelter for the past 270 days. No one wanted him because of two things: he was an adult dog, and he came from a Pitbull breed.
Paco waited for 270 days for someone to take him home. And on this day, his forever family arrived.
Paco was so excited, he couldn’t stop jumping when his new dad arrived to get him. At first, Paco had no idea what was going on. He just saw that the shelter staff and his new dad were walking toward his space.
It wasn’t until his new dad reached for him through the railings that he knew he was going to his forever home.

We’re so glad Paco has found his forever home. This sweet boy deserves the world.
