A Canadian man named Mike Digout from Saskatoon witnessed an extгаoгdіпагу sight—a mother goose tгаіɩіпɡ 47 goslings along the Saskatchewan riverbank.

Initially, he saw the goose with 16 goslings, but each day he returned, the number of goslings grew, eventually reaching 47. Fascinated by this phenomenon, Mike documented the scene, which has been shared widely online.

This behavior is known as “ɡапɡ brood,” where a mother goose not only cares for her own goslings but also takes on the responsibility of looking after others’ offspring. This communal parenting is common among geese and ensures the safety of the young, who often wander away from their mothers. The calmness and patience of the mother goose, despite the large brood, left a lasting impression on Mike and highlights the cooperative nature of these birds.
