A report released by China Aviation News said on July 16: “The production line of a JF-17 fighter jet has shortened the down time to just 15 days.”

The JF-17 fighter jet nicknamed the “Thin God” was developed by China’s Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group and Pakistan’s Pakistan Aviation Complex (PAC).

The PAC announced in January 2020, that it had built eight two-seat JF-17s in five months. The number of jets produced at Chengdu facilities in China could be higher. The total number of JF-17s produced this year has not been announced.

The JF-17 was developed by China’s Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group and Pakistan’s Pakistan’s Pakistan Airlines Complex.
