She wouldn’t budge from her place of safety, a burnt-out sofa that she’d claimed as her own, no matter how much the rescuer tried to coax her.
With the help of a delicious cheeseburger, he was able to earn her trust and win over her heart. The little furry friend was given the name Waka and was taken to a rescue center for a much-needed medical check-up and bath. Her past life of misery was slowly fading away as the dirt and grime were gently washed from her coat, revealing her stunning white fur. Thanks to the nurturing care provided by Wags and Walks, Waka is now fully prepared for adoption and eagerly waiting to find her forever home. With her newfound sense of security, good health, and happiness, she is ready to leave her troubled past behind and start a new chapter in her life.
