As Simon’s treatment continued, the odds seemed to grow ever steeper. Yet, through all of this, Simon never gave up. His tiny body, though frail, never lost its fight. In November, Simon was so weak that he couldn’t walk. His body was completely drained of strength. He needed help to sit up, stand, and even go to the bathroom.
