In a rare territorial dispute caught on camera, a tigress stunned onlookers by attacking and killing a leopard in India’s Sariska Tiger Reserve.
Yashvardhan Singh Shekhawat and his cousin Abhimanyu Singh Rajvi, who were visiting the reserve, witnessed the extraordinary scene unfold before their eyes.
The tigress, displaying incredible agility, leaped nearly 10 feet into a tree to catch the lurking leopard and quickly broke its neck. The cousins captured the moment the victorious tigress crossed the road with her prey.
While initially assuming the tiger was hunting, park rangers later discovered the leopard’s carcass. Tigers often resort to killing other predators if they feel threatened.
This awe-inspiring encounter left eyewitnesses in disbelief. Shekhawat commented that such an experience cannot be described in words. Their footage is undeniable proof of this incredible event.
