Yesterday, our hearts shattered as our precious Atlas took his final breaths. He slipped peacefully into forever, cradled safely in our arms, surrounded by the love that carried him through every moment of his three-year fight. Three years of courage, of hope, of innocence and light… and now, the silence he leaves behind feels unbearable.

We held him close, refusing to let go, wanting to memorize everything about him before the world changed forever. We kissed every inch of his soft skin, traced the shape of his tiny hands, his perfect fingers, his delicate toes. We touched the scars that told the story of his battle — the marks of a warrior who fought harder than anyone should ever have to.

Atlas wore his favorite yellow pajamas, wrapped in a warm, gentle blanket, with his beloved stuffed animals tucked beside him. He looked peaceful, almost glowing, as if he carried the last bit of his magic with him into the quiet. But the grief… the grief is crushing. It presses against our chests, steals our breath, and reminds us with every heartbeat that he is no longer here. The anger at a disease so cruel it steals children feels endless, sharp, and impossible to understand.

Atlas was pure light — joyful, loving, full of wonder in a way that made the world feel softer and kinder just by being near him. Now everything feels dimmer, colder, emptier. We pray for the strength to continue, to wake up each day and carry his memory forward. And we are deeply grateful for any help to bring him home and give his brother, Xavier, the space and time he needs to grieve.

Please, hold Atlas in your hearts. His light deserves to be remembered.
